What is BZZR, and why is my Rangers subscription moving here?
Welcome! If you're a Texas Rangers fan who watched on Victory+, you're in the right place. BZZR (spelled B-Z-Z-R, said "Buzz-er") is the new streaming home for Texas Rangers baseball. Starting this week, live Rangers games stream on BZZR instead of Victory+, and your subscription comes right along with you.
Here's the good news up front: you don't need to dig up your old Victory+ login, and you won't pay anything to claim the access you already had. There's just one quick, one-time step to move over, and we'll walk you through all of it.
Why is this happening mid-season?
The Rangers have made BZZR the new direct-to-fan home for their game streaming. We know a switch in the middle of a season isn't the most convenient timing, and we're working hard to make the move as smooth and painless as possible. If anything below isn't clear, our support team is glad to help — see more support options.
What do I need to do to move over?
The Rangers will email you a personal activation link. You'll click it, create a free BZZR account (or sign in if you already have one), and your Rangers access turns on automatically. That's the whole move. For the step-by-step, see Activating your subscription.
If you were an annual / Season Pass subscriber, your access is comped through the end of the 2026 regular season — no card needed to start watching. If you were a monthly subscriber, your access is comped until August 1, when monthly billing begins. Full details are in Annual Billing and Monthly Billing.
Where can I watch?
Lots of places, and more are coming:
- On your phone or tablet — the BZZR app for iPhone, iPad, and Android.
- On the web — just go to https://bzzr.com and sign in.
- On your TV — the Apple TV, Google TV/Chromecast, and Amazon Fire TV apps are available now. Roku, Samsung, and LG apps are expected later, around August/September. You can also cast to any TV from your phone or laptop in the meantime.
For everything about watching on a TV, including casting, see Watch on TV.
Is BZZR an app like Victory+ was?
Yes — BZZR is a full streaming app, plus a website. The main difference right now is which devices have a downloadable app. Phone, tablet, web, Apple TV, Google TV, and Fire TV are all live today; Roku, Samsung, and LG are on the way. If your TV isn't supported yet, casting from your phone gets you on the big screen in the meantime click here to learn about casting to your TV.
When does streaming start?
The first live game streams Friday night. That gives you a little time to activate, create your account, and get set up before first pitch — so you're ready to watch when the game starts.
Which games are included?
Regular-season Rangers games carried by the Rangers Sports Network stream on BZZR within the broadcast territory (Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, and New Mexico). A few games — playoffs, the World Series, and some nationally televised games — aren't part of the package. See Where & Which Games for the full picture.
